Babies and First Steps

We would like to say goodbye to our First Steppers: Penny, Artemas, Edward, Lois, Ben and Archie who will be moving up into the toddler room at the end of September as we will be welcoming new babies and first steppers into the nursery. Our topic of the month is ‘nursery rhymes and songs’. We will be doing a display on our favourite nursery rhymes and will be learning new ones.

The story of the month is going to be ‘Dinosaur Roar!’. We will be doing lots of arts and crafts and also some junk modelling for the dinosaur. The shape of the month is going to be a rectangle. Please could you bring in family pictures, so we can put them on our family board. Also could you please start to bring wellies into nursery, so we can go outdoors in the rain.

We would like to welcome all the children back to nursery and hope you’ve had a great summer. Throughout September we will be looking at different religions and doing different crafts based on their cultures and beliefs. Our topic of the month is nursery rhymes and songs. We are hoping to learn some new rhymes and songs which we hope the children will enjoy showing you all at home! Since decorating our room, the children will be very busy doing new artwork to let their personalities shine in the room.

We would like to welcome Ethan, Jake H, Jake F, Freddie, Harley and Joshua into the pre-school room. This month we will be focusing on space, with a key focus on planets.
